The Pineider fountain pen of the 1949 collection, is the perfect example of exquisite Italian craftsmanship. In keeping with Pineider tradition this handcraftedcollection combines style and elegance with the use of high quality materials. These Pineider pens, which have a clean and elegant look and a timeless modern shape, are individually hand-turned from a solid bar of precious black resin with a mirror-like finish. The pen’s barrel, with a 925 sterling silver ring, is hallmarked by Pineider and the cap is 8-sided. The hand-crafted rhodium-plated solid brass clip bears a resin cabochon, and on top of the cap you will find the Pineider crest. The barrel bottom features a delicate engraving of the 1949 collection logo. The collection is available in a choice of two writing modes: fountain pen with a 18 K gold nib, roller ball and sketch pen. The fountain pen features the cartridge converter system which allows either the use of universal cartridges or bottled ink.
